XiaoVV Camera Series FAQ

Tap the playback icon (which says “Replay”) at the bottom of the screen to review the video recorded on the latest date by the camera. 2.On the video playback screen,select the data to playback or use day as time unit. 3.While reviewing the video, you can switch around between the timeline mode and the event group mode. 4.In order to access this feature, a Micro SD card is needed for the camera. At the same time, please make sure to turn on the “24 Hour recording” or “Alarm recording” in the SD Card management. When the SD card’s memory is fully used up, the latest recorded videos will overwrite the old videos.
At the bottom of the live-stream screen, tap the microphone icon and start talking close to your phone so that people at the other side of the camera will be able to hear your voice; then, tap the icon again when you finish talking. 2.The small speaker icon on the right side of the screen is the control for the sound from the other side of the camera. It is turned on by default, but you can also turn the sound off by tapping the icon.
Under “My Devices,” find your XiaoVV Smart Wifi Camera, and tap it to watch the live video stream taken by the camera. 2.By tapping the full screen icon, the live video will be displayed in full screen.
1.Connect the XiaoVV Smart Wifi Camera. A Wi-Fi router with no less than 4Mbps is suggested, and no other special settings for the router are necessary.
2.Please make sure that the encryption mode is set to WPA/WPA2.
3.Please make sure that the Wi-Fi used has set a password; the connection cannot be done without a Wi-Fi password.
4.Please make sure that the Wi-Fi name does not contain any Chinese characters.
After connecting the camera with MiHome, in the alarm setting menu, you can turn on or off the alarm and motion detection feature by selecting “Arm/Disarm.” Also, you can schedule alarm times when you want or do not want to receive motion alerts and notifications.
1.Power on the camera.
2.Wait for the camera to connect: Press the reset button for 5 seconds. After hearing a voice prompt of the camera stating “Wait for Connection,” please proceed to the next step.
3.Add the device to MiHome app: click the icon “+” that is located at the top right corner of your screen, and follow the instructions to connect the XiaoVV Smart Wifi Camera to MiHome app.
